The effect of the  shootings and bombing in Norway still ripple through this country. It has forced a national self reflection about who they are as a people. For many here, their answer is to respond  to the attacks with love. In Oslo, the bulk of the flower memorial that grew around the City’s  main cathedral right after the attacks was removed days ago, but people still keep coming with offerings of fresh flowers in respect for the dead, and it has begun to grow again. I shot this image during the afternoon today 817/11. A country wide memorial is planned for later this week, 8/21/11.
