conferation bridge PEI New Brunswick during tropical storm arthur

A friend just asked me if I was in Nova Scotia Canada during tropical storm Arthur, the answer is yes! I drove fast, just ahead of the storm from Prince Edwards Island across the 8 mile long Confederation Bridge to New Brunswick and on to Truro Nova Scotia. The bridge was closed to trucks and down to a 60 km speed limit because of high winds and I got blown around the entire trip. I was planning on camping that night but changed plans and was lucky enough to get a room at a super 8 hotel thanks to Pam Wamback at Novascotia.com
