Rainbows and Snakes Northampton,MA.

Yesterday as  I was down with a back injury, the weather was perfect for rainbows. I hobbled out to the car and drove to the cornfields near my house in Northampton where they often appear. On my way home I encountered a group of kids taking refuge from the storm under a highway bridge. I had been in Costa Rica recently photographing, and was constantly told by my guide to be aware of the snakes in the jungle. Some how I was not surprised to cross paths with a boa constrictor back  here at home.
