Occupy Amherst a Day of Action 11-17-11

During a day of action around the world on the two month anniversary of the Occupy Wall Street action, A group of 200 people marched from The University of Massachusetts to Amherst Center. The group briefly entered both The Bank of America and TD bank North across the street chanting to the employees that they are also part of the 99%. I saw no arrests or confrontations with the police. Although the group also blocked traffic for a short time, the response from passers by and drivers was overwhelmingly positive.
