Monserrate Bogota Colombia

Rising above the city of Bogota Colombia to 10,341 ft, the mountain of Monserrate is a pilgrimage destination to the church at its peak built in the 17th century with a shrine to the Fallen lord. Many of the devoted climb the mountain, but there is also a funicular ( cable car ) to the top which is a hell of a ride.
