Over 130 Arrested at Vermont Yankee Protest

1000 anti nuclear citizens marched from Brattleboro Vt to the headquarters of Vermont Yankee’s parent company Entergy Nuclear yesterday 3-22-2012. Over 130 people were arrested crossing police lines on to the property, including my old friend ( no pun intended ) 93 year old Frances Crowe, pictured above with another member of the Northampton affinity group, “The Shut it Downs”. Vigils in solidarity with Vermont are being held in Nuclear communities around the country this Saturday Mar 24 2012 – 2:00pm to 4:00pm including at Vermont Yankee Nuclear Reactor, Governor Hunt Rd, Vernon,VT.
