A week after the October snow storm that devastated my area of Massachusetts, I finally had time to down load my images from a tour of Paradores in Spain I was on the week before the storm. I love Spain. The food was fantastic, the Paradores were beautiful and I got to travel with a diverse group of journalists, one of whom I have had the pleasure of traveling with before. I have a lot to report about the Paradores of Spain, but I thought I would start with something fun. Above is the food writer and fellow traveler Richard Frisbie, right side up in an upside down glass at the Parador Toledo ,  hard at work scrutinizing Spanish wine. Richard knows his stuff and it was a pleasure to travel with him as we uncovered the world of Spanish food.
